The Paris Spark
Back in 2012, on a trip to Paris, our founder stood on the Pont des Arts bridge. Thousands upon thousands of locks glimmered, each one a tiny testament to a love, a friendship, a memory. It was beautiful, powerful, and completely unforgettable.
Seeing those locks, each with a story whispered by its owner, sparked an idea. What if everyone could have their own custom love lock, a tangible piece of their unique story, without needing to travel to Paris?
Inspired by that feeling, MakeLoveLocks was born. Right there in Brooklyn, with a dream and a whole lot of heart.
